As promised, Yieldly is happy to announce the integration of AlgoSigner, the first Algorand wallet extension for Chrome. This fresh wallet integration makes Yieldly dapps even more convenient and accessible for users. It comes just in time for Yieldly’s 20+ LP Pool Pledge, where a new liquidity pool launches each day this month on our platform.
What is Algosigner?
AlgoSigner is an open-source Chrome extension that provides wallet functionality for Algorand-based applications like Yieldly. PureStake developed AlgoSigner in 2020 and was awarded a grant for their work as part of the Algorand Grant Program.
As an open-source browser plug-in, AlgoSigner provides a secure way for holders of Algorand Standard Asset (ASA) tokens to interact with dApps without granting them control of their keys. You can request to connect to a visitor’s wallet, send transactions for their signature, and transmit signed transactions to the Algorand TestNet or MainNet — all without needing to handle keys or secrets.

Now, users can sign and approve Yieldly-related transactions with Ledger, Algorand Wallet, My Algo Wallet, AlgoSigner, and Wallet Connect. The growing list of wallets supported by Yieldly optimises the overall user experience, as well as naturally increase the number of users also. With 3.2M+ transactions and counting across Yieldly products, the integration is a welcome update.
