Yieldly welcomes INFINITY and its thriving Latin American esports community to the all-new yNFT marketplace

Yieldly is proud to announce its partnership with 2021 Liga Latinoamérica (LLA, English “Latin American League”) champions INFINITY, opening the Latin American esports community to the world of Web3 and bringing new engagement opportunities for the team’s fan base.

The LLA (run by Riot Games Latin America) is the top level of professional League of Legends esports gaming in Hispanic America. Crowned as league champions in 2021, INFINITY represented the LLA at the 2021 League of Legends World Championship, bringing global recognition to the Latin American esports team.

INFINITY’s own foray into Web3 will see it launch its own exclusive NFTs on Yieldly’s Algorand-based yNFT marketplace. This marks the largest esports team to be launching on Algorand and we are proud to be leading this charge. Our yNFT marketplace provides an all-encompassing view of the NFT market, offering useful tools like Google Analytics data, multiple integrated coin wallets, application monitoring, and more. With a dedicated IPFS gateway allowing for an experience 4x faster than those on public gateways, as well as compatibility with any NFT minted on Algorand, yNFT has laid the groundwork to become an excellent addition to the Algorand ecosystem.

This partnership extends to include our sister company Yesports as well, where INFINITY will be entering an esports-centric metaverse. The Yesports partnership will enable INFINITY’s user base to incentives like VIP tickets to esport events, access to private Discord servers, fan memberships that facilitate metaverse access, signed merchandise and exclusive video content, player AMAs, team training live streams, and play-alongs with the team, among other exclusive opportunities.

Damián Szarfirsztein, Commercial Director of INFINITY said, “INFINITY’s partnership with Yesports and Yieldly opens an exciting new chapter in the history of our organization. Innovation has always been a fundamental principle of the team, which we continue to promote through the integration of emerging Web3 technology and the growth in fan engagement that the partnership will foster.”

Esports’ rapid growth continues at an unprecedented pace, with a global market revenue projected to hit an impressive $1.62 billion by 2024. The market also boasts one of the highest levels of engagement, with the global live-streaming audience anticipated to grow at a rate of 7.7% annually to surpass half a billion viewers in 2022 and reach 577.2 million in 2024. In Latin America, esports continues to grow in popularity, as witnessed recently through the announcement of the first-ever South American Esports Championships. This eagerly anticipated championship is led by The Global Esports Federation and is set to run parallel to the 2022 South American Games in Asunción, Paraguay, in early October.

South America is also regarded as a global epicenter for play-to-earn (P2E) crypto games, with Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela leading the way. Amid a global economic climate of spiraling inflation and local salaries lagging behind, increasing numbers of the younger generation are turning to P2E gaming to supplement their income.

Sebastian Quinn, Founder and CEO of Yieldly, said, “We are delighted to welcome INFINITY, and with them, the whole Latin American esports community, to Yieldly, and I am also thrilled to be joining INFINITY as a Web3 advisor to support their continued growth. As 2021 LLA champions, INFINITY represents excellence through dedication and strong professional principles, which Yieldly also holds as core values in our ongoing mission to provide unique and exciting new opportunities for teams and their followers alike on our all-new yNFT marketplace.”
